The Journey of Learning
As a school, we are passionate about the journey… about children learning how to learn by being aware of the steps they are taking and seeing how their learning is building to a point where they can begin drafting their end goals.
Of course, once the End Goal has been drafted, there are still a number of really important steps to take before the journey is complete… sharing, evaluating, revising, editing and on some occasions taking it right the way through to a publication stage.
If you have a chance to pop into school when you are dropping off or picking up this week, do have a look at the displays in shared areas. All displays celebrate the journey of learning - and there is a display from each year group where you will be able to see the hook, the end goal and the series of steps that take the children between the two for a learning experience that took place during the autumn term!
